UVa-Wise invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor in Economics. Candidates will have a Ph.D. in Economics (candidates with a concentration or MS in Finance will be preferred), a strong interest/commitment to teaching excellence, and commitment to a continuing program of scholarly research. ABD's near completion will be considered, but candidates must have completed the Ph.D. by August 2018 to be hired on a tenure-track appointment.

Responsibilities will include Intermediate Microeconomics/Macroeconomics, Mathematics for Business, Principles of Statistics, and additional courses, depending on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and interests. Teaching load is four courses/semester.
