Global Markets research is a pillar of our global universal bank. Within this division, our award-winning team offers in-depth industry knowledge on a global scale. Our insightful Economists, Strategists, and Research Analysts are based in offices worldwide, giving you global exposure. And our multi asset-class research product consistently outperforms the market, for both internal and external clients. Our research teams deal with a range of functions, from economic and financial forecasting to asset allocation, and cover all major global financial markets and industry sectors.

The Research PhD Program
Get to work in a fast-paced environment and be exposed to real market issues. Meet and work with some of the top minds in global macroeconomics and finance. Interact daily with teams from across Deutsche Bank as well as with clients. Explain market events, devise models and investment strategies, and assist in the publication of our research products.

About You
We are looking for exceptional people to join our highly ranked Global Macroeconomic and Quantitative Finance Strategy team in New York. You should be in the final year of your PhD degree and on track for completion by June 2018. Preferred subjects include Economics, Finance, and Statistics. You will bring a passion for macroeconomics and finance and an excellent command of the English language. You should be technically adept and, ideally, have the following skills:

- In-depth training and experience in empirical research,
- The ability to manage large data sets,
- Good written and verbal communication skills, and
- Solid programming skills (in Stata, EViews, R, MATLAB, or other statistical programming languages).
