The Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-line position in macroeconomics at the rank of assistant, associate, or full professor (this is an open-rank search), that will be either a tenure-track or tenured appointment. The appointment will begin in August 2018.

The Department of Economics is seeking applicants with expertise in the area of macroeconomics/monetary economics.
The applicant will have the ability to teach graduate macroeconomics in support of our master's degree program, strong empirical research skills, and experience communicating with external constituencies. An appointment at the assistant, or possibly the associate professor rank, would be tenure track. A senior appointment (full professor, or possibly associate professor rank) would be with tenure. Any appointment with tenure will be contingent upon a tenure review.

Qualifications:
Qualifications include a Ph.D. from an accredited institution (candidates must have the Ph.D. degree in hand or all requirements for the degree fulfilled by the start of the appointment) and a record that demonstrates promise of high-quality research and teaching. Sponsorship is not available.
