ESMT Berlin invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or untenured Associate Professor level. A successful candidate should employ modern data analytic techniques in their research. He or she should have a command of econometrics and statistics and be familiar with commonly used programming languages, such as R or Python. Familiarity with techniques such as machine learning, cloud computing, distributed computing and network analysis is an advantage. The successful candidate should also be able to effectively teach data analytic skills to business students at the Masters, MBA and PhD level, and have a genuine interest in applying them to business and/or economic problems. ESMT Berlin is an international business school, with a US-style tenure track system which rewards high-quality academic research. As a business school, practice-oriented teaching is also important.
