The Department of Economics, University of Otago Business School, invites applications for a full-time, confirmation path (tenure-track) position in Applied Microeconomics. We seek applicants who specialise in Empirical Microeconomics, with preference for specialties in Health, Labour, and/or Industrial Organisation. The appointment will be at the Lecturer (equivalent to Assistant Professor in the North American system) or Senior Lecturer level.

The successful applicant will be expected to: contribute to the Department’s undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes; develop a productive research programme; supervise postgraduate research students at Master’s and PhD levels; and contribute to service activities at the Departmental, Divisional, and University levels.
