Duke Kunshan University (DKU) invites applications to fill one faculty position in environmental social science (rank open) to start as early as July 2018 to staff the newly created Environment Research Center and international Master of Environmental Policy (iMEP) program. Desired expertise for the environmental social scientist includes, but is not limited to, environmental economics, survey methods, applied quantitative analysis, environmental negotiation, environmental policy analysis, public policy, and political science. The candidate should be comfortable teaching an environmental policy analysis course and practicum, including the application of basic economics and statistics to environmental problems and writing policy memos. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree or equivalent related to public policy, political science, and economics. Candidates must demonstrate an ability to conduct outstanding independent research and a commitment to teaching.

DKU is a partnership of Duke University, Wuhan University and Kunshan City. The campus is 37 miles west of Shanghai in Kunshan.
