The School of Economics at the University of Nottingham invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for a Chair and Assistant Professorships from September 2018, or soon thereafter.

The School of Economics has an international reputation for excellence in teaching and research across all areas of Economics. The successful candidates (with interests in any area of economics) will be expected to add to these strengths and have an excellent publications record (senior posts) and a PhD in Economics and teaching experience at University level (junior posts). Candidates for the senior roles should also have a demonstable commitment to education and research leadership in economics.

Starting salary will be within the range:

Assistant Professorships: Starting from £38,833 per annum. - £47,722 per annum, plus further increments subject to performance

Chair: negotiable, minimum £60,410 per annum.
