The Ph.D. Program in Economics at the City University of New York Graduate Center seeks to hire a macroeconomist at the associate or full professor level. Depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications, there is a possibility for the position to be in the title of Distinguished Professor. Qualifications include a strong research record, excellence in teaching at the graduate level, and a commitment to supervising Ph.D. dissertations. Candidates will be expected to produce scholarly research of the highest quality, seek external research funding, teach graduate level courses, supervise Ph.D. dissertations, and contribute to curriculum development and program administration as needed. The program (http://www.gc.cuny.edu/Economics/) has an applied orientation. Terms and conditions of offers are competitive with those of research universities nationwide.

Review of applications will begin October 30, 2017 and continue until the position is filled. Deadline for applicants to be considered for interviews at the ASSA conference in Philadelphia is November 30, 2017.
