The Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences (FCEA) of the Pontifical Xavierian University invites applications for a full-time position at the Assistant Professor level, starting August 2018. We are seeking candidates whose primary areas of research are accounting and finance, but candidates in other related areas will also be considered.

Located in the modern, eastern area of Bogotá, La Javeriana is a non-profit and private higher education institution. It was founded in 1623 by the Society of Jesus, and is currently one of the oldest and most prestigious Colombian universities, which has traditionally educated the Colombian elite. Its mission is to educate professionals that stand out due to their academic formation, human quality, ethics and social responsibility.

FCEA has undergraduate and graduate programs in accounting, business administration and economics. We provide generous incentives for publication, research funds, as well as the possibility to hire junior research assistants. The standard teaching load is two courses per semester.
