The Department of Economics at St. Lawrence University invites applications for one, and possibly two, tenure-track positions at the assistant professor level beginning August 2018. Located at 23 Romoda Drive in Canton, N.Y., St. Lawrence University is a coeducational, private, independent liberal arts institution of about 2,400 students from more than 40 states and 40 nations. The Department of Economics consists of 12 members covering a broad range of fields and interests. We are committed to excellence in teaching and scholarship in a diverse liberal arts environment.

While the available positions are open field, we seek candidates capable of teaching and conducting research in at least two of our three core curricular areas of macroeconomics, microeconomics, and quantitative methods. The typical teaching assignment is 3 courses per semester including 2 sections from the core and one upper level elective. A Ph.D. in Economics or ABD.
