About Fideres?

We are a rapidly growing and innovative consulting firm with staff of 20. We have an extended network of over 15 Consulting Academics who co-operate with us to provide state of the art research and analysis to our clients.

Fideres has two complementary business lines:

- Consulting: providing economic and financial research (pricing, economic analysis, statistical analysis) to analyse complex financial legal claims and estimate damages;
- Litigation funding: investing our own and third party capital in the funding of financial claims, a new and emerging asset class.

We are hiring economist and econometricians for our London and NY office. We sponsor work VISAs in the UK.

Role Responsibilities:

- Overseeing projects and managing a small team of quantitative analysts
- Conducting detailed economic and statistical analysis of market manipulation or anti-trust allegations as part of the delivery of Fideres’ consulting mandates
- Writing comprehensive reports that summarize the key findings of our analysis in a simple, succinct manner
- Verbally presenting key findings internally to the management team and to clients in a manner that allows them to understand both the results and how they impact their own clients

Required Skills:

- 2-5 years of experience in a financial or economic analyst role, e.g. banking, fund management, accounting, economic or management consultancy, corporate finance
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, especially financial and/or economic analysis and econometric/statistics
- Proficiency in R, Python or similar statistical software
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and capacity to work in a team under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage in face-to-face conversations with clients and prospects with confidence
- Ability to write about complex issues in simple terms, understandable by those with no financial background
- Commercial instinct and astute business judgment
