Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Center for Research in International Economics (CREI) invites applications for research positions at both Senior and Junior levels. Fields of interest include:

• Macroeconomics
• International Finance
• Monetary and Financial Economics
• Growth and Development
• International Trade and Economic Geography
• Political Economy

CREI is a research institute sponsored by the Government of Catalonia and Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and an academic unit of the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics. It is located within the UPF campus in Barcelona.

Junior researchers are offered tenure-track positions subject to an evaluation after six years. Terms of appointment are flexible and competitive. CREI researchers have no teaching obligations, but are encouraged to participate in the UPF and Barcelona GSE academic programs. English is the working language at CREI. Knowledge of Catalan or Spanish is not required.

Applicants must hold (or obtain by end-2018) a PhD in Economics. Applications, including a CV, a recent research paper and three reference letters, should be submitted through https://econjobmarket.org by December 4, 2017. Selected candidates will be interviewed during the SAEe 2017 to be held in Barcelona and at the ASSA Meetings in Philadelphia.
