The Department of Economics of the Bryan School of Business & Economics at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (http://economics.uncg.edu/) invites applications to fill one tenure-track Assistant or one tenured Associate Professor position to begin in Fall 2018. The position seeks candidates whose research and teaching focus are either in empirical macroeconomics or in health economics.

Candidates specializing in empirical macroeconomics will be considered at the tenure-track Assistant Professor level or at the Associate Professor level with permanent tenure. Applicants must be able to teach undergraduate and graduate classes in macroeconomics and a Master’s-level course in time series econometrics. Candidates who specialize in financial economics will also be considered for this position. Senior applicants must have a strong research record.

Candidates specializing in health economics will be considered at the tenure-track senior Assistant Professor level or at the Associate Professor level with permanent tenure. Applicants must be able to teach undergraduate and graduate classes in health economics. A strong research record and a demonstrated history of success in attracting external funding is required for a candidate at either rank.

Interviews will be held at the ASSA meetings in Philadelphia, PA. Junior candidates should have the Ph.D. in economics by August 2018. UNCG is an equal opportunity/equal access employer.
