The Department of Economics at the University of Florida invites applications for three non-tenure-track positions at the full-time Lecturer level with a Fall 2018 start date and a 9-month period appointment. The positions are in the fields of Macroeconomics or Monetary Economics, Managerial Economics, and Public Economics.

The candidate should have a commitment to undergraduate teaching and possess excellent teaching credentials. Demonstrated success in economic research is desirable. Applicants must have his or her Ph.D. completed by August 2018, and will be expected to undertake undergraduate teaching and advising. The teaching assignment will be three courses per semester, and the Department Chair will make efforts to reduce the number of course preparations. Salary is competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience, and includes a full benefits package. The position is not tenure-track, but the contract is renewable. The University has a career track for lecturers with the possibility of promotion to Senior Lecturer and Master Lecturer.
