The University of Southern California’s Leonard D. Schaeffer Center for Health Policy and Economics is accepting applications for one postdoctoral fellowship in health policy and health economics. We are looking to hire As Soon As Possible. The fellowship will allow a scholar to sharpen their analytical skills and advance their research agendas in the fields of health policy and health economics through formal and informal training and extensive collaboration with distinguished researchers.

Scholars who have completed a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline such as economics, public policy, health policy, statistics, gerontology, medicine, and psychology, are invited to apply. Scholars with an interest in cognitive health and have experience working with large data-sets (namely Claims) are Highly encouraged to apply. Scholars may be recent graduates or may have several years of research experience. The fellowship provides a competitive stipend and other benefits for a 12-month fixed term, which may be renewed up to a maximum of two years.

Project: Effectiveness of therapeutics and health care services in reducing racial disparities in Alzheimer’s disease.
