The Department of Economics invites applications for one or more tenure-track Assistant Professor positions. Successful candidates for these positions will be able to teach core and elective courses at the PhD level. We are particularly interested in candidates conducting econometric research or empirical research that has policy implications. Applied fields that will be given priority include empirical macroeconomics, industrial organization and health economics; individuals outside these areas conducting empirical research on public policy issues are also encouraged to apply.

All candidates are expected to supervise Ph.D. dissertation research and to teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels. A successful candidate at the Assistant Professor rank will provide evidence of potential research excellence and a commitment to teaching. These positions require a Ph.D. in economics or closely related field. All appointments will begin August 2018.
