The Department of Economics at the Universidad de Chile is seeking two faculty members at the Assistant Professor level. Applicants must possess a PhD in Economics by the beginning of the appointment and should show strong research potential and capacity for effective teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level.

Candidates in all fields will be considered, with special emphasis on applied microeconomic theory and macroeconomics. Applicants must submit a curriculum vitae, one research paper and three recommendation letters.

We will be interviewing selected candidates at the ASSA Annual Meeting in Philadelphia in January 5-7, 2018.
