The Department of Economics at the University of Rhode Island is seeking an Assistant Professor in International Economics. We seek someone who can participate in a new selective undergraduate major in international studies & diplomacy in Sept 2018. Candidates should have an active research & teaching program in any subfield of international economics & be able to interact with colleagues in other departments participating in the new program

Teach courses in international economics as well as introductory &/or intermediate economics & participate in our new program in international studies & diplomacy; develop a program of scholarly research & publish in areas of expertise that coordinate with department, college, & university goals, advise students & contribute to departmental governance and service.
