The Department of Economics at Boise State University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor starting fall 2018. We seek candidates with an interest in macroeconomic policy and expertise in open-economy macroeconomics and econometrics. We prefer candidates with applied research interests related to economic growth or development. The successful candidate is expected to develop a nationally recognized research program and to have a proven ability to teach. We also value the ability to work across disciplines and to secure external funding. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in macroeconomics, econometrics and a field specialty. PhD must be completed, or defense scheduled, prior to December 31, 2017.
