The Pontificia Universidad Javeriana invites applications for academic positions at both the assistant and associate professor levels. We welcome motivated candidates in any field of economics. Applicants should have completed all Ph.D. requirements by mid-July 2018.

The Department of Economics at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana is one of the most prestigious in the country. We provide generous incentives for publication, research funds, and the possibility to hire junior research assistants. Accepted candidates usually teach one core undergraduate course and one graduate course in their field of specialization per semester. Interviews to potential candidates will take place during the AEA/ASSA meeting in Philadelphia and SAEe in Barcelona.
