The University of South Dakota's Beacom School of Business seeks applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Economics, beginning August 2018. Tenure track duties include teaching, producing scholarly research, and service.
Required Qualifications:
* Ph.D. in Economics is required.
* Demonstration of strong teaching and research/scholarship interests that are
aligned with economics program in business school.
* Willingness to teach courses in both traditional and online environments.
* Proficiency in oral and written communication.
* Dedication to engagement, service, and the public good.
* Candidates with experience working with diverse students, staff, and faculty
are preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Ph.D. from AACSB accredited business school.
* Primary area of teaching in managerial economics.
* Secondary area of teaching in principles of economics and another economics
subfield.
* Scholarly interest that complements the position's teaching fields.
* Related business experience is preferred.
