The Department of Economics at the University of Oklahoma invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor position in Macroeconomics and Monetary Economics, effective fall 2018. We especially welcome candidates with interests in macro policy, open economy macro and international finance. A successful candidate must be an outstanding researcher with a strong commitment to teaching, research and outreach.
Teaching responsibilities will be at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including teaching the macroeconomics sequence in the Ph.D. program. The regular teaching load is 2+2. Previous teaching experience is a plus. A Ph.D. by August 2018 is required. A background check is required for employment.
