The University of Oregon Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position to begin Fall 2018. We seek candidates who demonstrate potential for outstanding research and teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. We are interested in candidates whose research lies at the intersection of social equity and big data, broadly defined, including applications to public economics, education, health, labor, development, and industrial organization, as well as other fields. The required Ph.D. in economics, or related field, must be complete by September 15, 2018. Successful candidates will support and enhance a diverse learning and working environment.
