The Department of Finance and Real Estate of the Kogod School of Business at American University in Washington D.C. invites applications for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the area of Finance for the 2018/2019 academic year. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. or anticipated Ph.D. completion by August 2018.

Candidates should demonstrate excellence in research and teaching, ability to produce high quality research, and a commitment to university service:
-- Qualified candidates in all finance fields will be considered.
-- Primary teaching focus is in Finance, with a broad-enough range of competencies within that field to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, including both core and advanced courses.
