The Department of Finance and Economics in the College of Business at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) invites applications for two tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor of Economics positions beginning August 2018.

Candidates must be academically qualified to teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate microeconomics courses, including intermediate microeconomics theory or undergraduate econometrics, and at least two microeconomics subfields. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Economics (or closely-related field) or be in the ABD stage of their doctoral studies, with expected completion of the Ph.D. prior to their start date. In addition to excellent communication skills, applicants must be able to provide instruction in a variety of modalities, including online. Faculty members at UTC are expected to teach nine credit hours per semester, conduct research leading to quality refereed journal publications, and engage in service activities related to the department, the College, the University, and the business community in Chattanooga.
