Full Text of JOE Listing:
The Bank of Japan (BOJ) is interested in hiring Ph.D.s in economics and related fields with high quality policy-related research skills. The BOJ expects candidates to pursue a career as a professional central banker while working in the various fields of central banking, such as monetary policy, economic research, financial system, financial markets, payment markets or international finance. The main working language at the BOJ is Japanese; therefore, native level proficiency in speaking, reading and writing are required. Applicants with several years of professional experience are welcomed.
