Waseda University, a leading research university located in central Tokyo, invites applications for a tenure-track or tenured position* in Public Economics at the Faculty of Political Science and Economics. The appointment will be at the rank of either Associate Professor (tenure-track), Associate Professor (tenured), or Professor (tenured), effective April 2018, September 2018, or some later mutually-agreeable date.
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
(1)Be competent to conduct research in Public Economics.
(2)Be competent to teach undergraduate and graduate courses on Public Economics.
(3)Be competent to teach graduate courses on either Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, or Econometrics.
(4)Able to teach in both Japanese and English.
(5)All applicants must have completed the Ph.D. by the start of the appointment.
