A Saudi Center for Strategic Economic Development is looking to hire a Head of Research and Policy to play a strategic role in the center’s core business by directing the research agenda, leading, supervising and managing the analytic work of the Center’s core teams in researching, analyzing and designing economic policy and national strategies through the application of economic modeling, econometric analysis, behavioral economics or “nudge” analysis, and the techniques of systematic strategic foresight.

Ideal candidates will have:
•PHD & extensive publication history in economics
•15+ years of professional experience with research, deep academic and professional expertise in economics and economic policy.
•Leadership capacity in a relevant discipline gained with an academic or think tank environment is preferred with ability to staff development and delegation
•Strong record of driving a team of analysts to produce a steady stream of world-class economic policy analysis products through effective work-flow policies
•Demonstrated track record of strategic thinking and integrity
•World-class analytic content creation in economics and/or related fields
•Experience working for or with the government sector is a plus.
•Excellent communication and time management skills
•Fluency in written and spoken English,is a plus
