The Department of Economics invites applications for one or more tenure-track faculty positions at the assistant, associate or full professor level beginning August 2018, subject to budgetary funding. We are interested in candidates who could be appointed as advanced assistant, associate, or full professor. Appointment at the associate or full professor level requires a strong record of publication in top journals consistent with the standards for those ranks set forth in the Terry College Promotion and Tenure Guidelines (http://provost.uga.edu/documents/Business_2015.pdf), and demonstrated effectiveness in graduate and undergraduate teaching. Candidates at the associate or full professor level must have their PhD, while candidates at the assistant professor level must have completed their PhD or expect to receive it by August 2018 and show great promise as researchers and teachers at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
