We are seeking applications for the Ralph M. Bilby Chair in Business Administration with an expected starting date of August, 2018. This is a tenured position at the full professor rank. An earned doctorate in any business-related discipline is required. This position will be filled by an individual with an extensive publication record in high-quality refereed journals. NAU has recently invested heavily in the School of Informatics, Computing, and Cyber Systems. This interdisciplinary team of researchers engages in a wide variety of work around informatics. The Bilby Chair will have a depth of knowledge and experience in economic applications of data analytics including, but not limited to: energy, environmental and scientific analytics, data driven decision analysis and optimization, value-oriented business analytics, and econometric methods for big data. The Bilby Chair should have the ability and desire to collaborate with researchers across campus. The Bilby Chair is expected to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and to engage in service activities.
