The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Goethe-University Frankfurt and the Research Center SAFE invite applications for a

Visiting Professor
“Behavioral Economics and Finance”
Specialization: Monetary Economics/MacroFinance

Successful applicants are expected to conduct research and to contribute actively to the activities of the Research Center, which includes a visitors program, a data center, and numerous research projects focusing on different aspects of a sustainable architecture for finance in Europe.

We are looking for an experienced academic with a strong background in monetary economics and/or macro finance. Applicants should have demonstrated the ability to publish in major international journals.

Successful candidates are supposed to start at the earliest possible date. The position is initially limited to 31.12.2018 and can be extended depending on future funding options. Candidates must possess a doctorate and an excellent research record and capacity for effective teaching at graduate and undergraduate levels. PhD teaching is in English and choice is offered between teaching BA and MSc courses in German or in English.

The designated salary for the position is based on “W3” on the German university scale or equivalent. The Goethe University is seeking to increase its share of women in research and teaching and particularly welcomes applications of female scholars.
