The Davidson College Department of Economics invites applications for a two-year Visiting Assistant Professorship beginning July 1, 2017. Applicants must be able to teach Introductory Economics, Intermediate Microeconomics and Applied Microeconomics electives. Specialization in Industrial Organization, Law and Economics, or Health Economics is desirable but not necessary.

The teaching load is five courses over two semesters. Previous teaching experience and demonstrated teaching ability are required, as is an active research program. Completing a Ph.D. by July 2017 is preferred but not necessary. Visitors are eligible to apply for travel funds and for summer research funding.
