The Center for People, Politics, and Markets invites applications for a one year visiting assistant professor position in Economics beginning August 2017. Ideally, candidates will have prior teaching experience and a Ph.D., although candidates with an ABD will be considered. We are seeking someone who can teach a subset of the following courses: a blended introduction to economics course (micro/macro), intermediate microeconomics, statistics, and elective courses in that candidate’s area of expertise. Candidates who can contribute elective courses related to health, education, labor, public finance, inequality, and gender economics are strongly encouraged to apply. The teaching load will be 3-2 (18 credits).
