Two full-time job openings: Senior Economist and Economist

Senior Economist qualifications include a PhD in Economics and minimum five years of research experience, including managing major projects. Candidates should have expertise in theoretical and applied econometrics, plus specializations in two or more of these areas: health care economics, labor economics, financial economics, economics of risk and risk management.

Economist qualifications include either: a PhD in Economics and minimum two years of research experience; or a MA in Economics and minimum five years of research experience. Candidates should have comprehensive knowledge of applied econometrics, plus specialization in one or more of the areas listed above.

The Economics Group at the National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI), located in Boca Raton, Florida, conducts thought-leading empirical research on diverse topics relating to workers compensation insurance. NCCI manages the largest database of workers compensation information in the United States, including an extensive proprietary collection of medical claims data.

Compensation for both positions is commensurate with qualifications, and includes an annual performance bonus and benefits. Relocation assistance may be provided.
