Applicants sought for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Economics position beginning Fall 2017. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Economics (or ABD nearing completion). Normal teaching load is nine hours (three courses) per semester. Teaching responsibilities may include Principles of Macroeconomics, Principles of Microeconomics, Managerial Economics for MBA students, and other potential electives. Job expectations include publications in refereed journals, presentations of academic papers at professional meetings, good oral communication skills, and a strong commitment to teaching. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Applications accepted only online at https://jobs.uhcl.edu.
