The Southwester University of Finance and Economics is located in a historical city Chengdu, and is one of the best universities in China and with more than 20,000 full-time students the largest Chinese university specializing in economics and management.

The School of Finance ranked first in Chinese financial disciplines in 2002, and passed the review by the Ministry of Education in 2007. There are three faculties a our school: finance, financial engineering and credit management, plus a Bilingual Teaching Center of Finance. Currently, we have over 2500 undergraduates, 1,400 postgraduates and about 70 doctoral candidates. There are also two national laboratories in Finance. The School of Finance at SWUFE has been a partner of CFA institute since 2015. It is the largest educational base for financial talents national wide.
