The School of Economics at the University of Cape Town is seeking to make three permanent appointments, at the Senior Lecturer (Assistant Professor) or Lecturer level, in the areas of macroeconomics, financial economics and labour economics.

For the position of Senior Lecturer, applicants must have completed a PhD in Economics (or expect to do so by the end of 2016) and demonstrate evidence of peer-reviewed research output. For the position of Lecturer, considerable progress toward a PhD and strong research promise is required. A good track record in teaching would be a strong recommendation.
