Graduate School of Public Policy (GrasPP), the University of Tokyo, invites applications for a full-time non-tenured Assistant or Associate Professor under the Global Leader Program for Social Design and Management. The position is limited to 3 years (with possible extension depending on budget and other considerations). The school is considered as one of top world public policy schools and a member of the Global Public Policy Network, a coalition of renowned seven schools in the world. International students represent about half of all the students.

Applicants should have a PhD or an anticipated PhD completion by August 2017 in the field of macroeconomics. She or he is expected to teach core macroeconomics courses in English, targeting primarily for the GrasPP master students. A good academic publication record, teaching experiences, as well as work experiences in public institutions such as central banks or international organizations are all taken into account.
