The School of Business and Economics at the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaiso seeks applications for a non-tenured post-doctoral Research Associate. The post-doctoral student has no teaching requirement and will be required to get involved in projects of professors of the School working in the field. All candidates must demonstrate commitment to excellence in research. The selected candidate is expected to conduct research aiming to publish in relevant international journals of the field.

Applicants must hold a PhD in Economics or a related field at the time of the appointment (August 2017 or earlier). Applicants whose main area of research is macroeconomics will be given more consideration.

Applicants must submit a curriculum vita, a cover letter, three letters of recommendation, and research samples to: sergio.salas.l@pucv.cl no later than December 15th 2016. We will be interviewing selected candidates at the ASSA Annual Meeting in Chicago in January 6-8, 2017.
