The Economics Program in The School of Business is accepting applications for a tenure-track position of Assistant Professor. The program offers both a major and a minor.

The successful candidate should have completed all requirements for the Ph.D. in Economics before joining the faculty. Expectations include excellence in teaching, active student engagement, and the development of a highly-qualified research program. A typical teaching load includes nine (9) hours per semester. Primary teaching responsibilities include Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, Intermediate Macroeconomics, and Applied Statistics.

The School of Business at Francis Marion University, a public regional liberal arts university with a diverse student population, is AACSB accredited. Francis Marion provides generous support for teaching, research and professional development. Summer research stipends are available on a competitive basis.
