The Department of Economics at St. Catherine University invites applications for two full-time, tenure-track positions beginning fall 2017. One position will be solely in the economics department and one will be joint with political science.

The selected candidate for each position is expected to have responsibilities in teaching, research and service. Currently, the teaching load is six sections (24 credits) per academic year. Applicants from all fields are welcome and should expect to teach broadly across introductory and upper level courses. The creation of knowledge in the discipline resulting in its dissemination through the publication of peer-reviewed articles is expected. Applicants should be prepared to work collaboratively to support students who are passionate about social justice. Applicants should demonstrate evidence of a commitment to excellence in research and teaching.
