Job Description
The Department of Finance's Tax Policy Division reviews, analyzes, and evaluates existing and proposed policies and legislation that affect the Department of Finance and the City. Tax Policy mines business, property, and income tax data for policy modeling, revenue forecasting, and audit selection, and also publishes a variety of statistical reports.

The Tax Policy Division is seeking individuals with strong quantitative and qualitative research skills to analyze current tax burdens and proposed changes in tax law, and identify audit-worthy candidates for the Department of Finance's Audit Division. Candidates with programming skills and experience with data mining and modeling are encouraged to apply.
