The Department of Economics invites applications for two positions in Economics; Walter J. Mead Chair in Economics and Alec P. Alexander Chair in Economics. The appointment to the Chairs will be made at the full professor or associate professor level to a distinguished scholar in Economics. The positions are open to exceptional candidates in all fields. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Economics. To ensure full consideration, complete the online application process by December 1, 2016. A complete application will include a cover letter and CV. For primary consideration, apply by December 1, 2016 for a July 1, 2017 effective date. Thereafter, the position is open until filled.
