The Department of Finance and Real Estate of the Kogod School of Business at American University in Washington D.C. invites applications for a full-time, tenure-line faculty position (open rank) to begin in the Academic Year 2017-18. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. or anticipated PhD completion by August 2017.
Candidates should demonstrate excellence in research and teaching and a commitment to university service.
-- For Assistant Professor position: A graduate degree in a relevant field which qualifies the individual to teach a variety of finance and/or real estate courses, coupled with a demonstrated ability to produce high impact research.
-- For Associate or Full Professor position: A graduate degree in a relevant field, evidence of teaching ability, coupled with a demonstrated publication record of high impact research.
-- Teaching competencies should include both undergraduate and graduate levels, and both core and advanced courses.

Candidates should also share American University’s commitment to diversity.

Salary and benefits are competitive.
