The Underwood International College of Yonsei University invites applications for a tenure track faculty position at the level of Assistant/Associate Professor of Sustainable Development and Cooperation to teach at the International Campus in Songdo, Incheon, located in the greater metropolitan region in South Korea.

We are only accepting applications from non-Korean citizens and Koreans who have received the entire post-secondary education outside of Korea (Bachelors, Masters, and Ph.D.).

The appointment will begin March 1, 2017. Teaching responsibilities are 6 credit-hours (2 classes) per semester and the successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in English. Compensation includes competitive salary, health insurance and other benefits, including fully subsidized housing (for up to 6 years), and a generous relocation and start-up package.

Applicants should apply online by submitting a cover letter, C.V., teaching philosophy statement, Ph.D. dissertation abstract, and the names of 3 referees. Short-listed candidates will be asked to submit a writing sample and sample syllabi.
