Bard College Berlin is seeking to appoint a Professor of Economics (W2/Associate Professorship level) from September 2017. Applicants must have a specialization in applied microeconomics (desirable research fields include public or environmental economics), a PhD degree, an excellent track record in research and teaching, and an interest in liberal arts education. Ability to teach quantitative courses (e.g. game theory or econometrics) will be considered an asset. An initial contract of four years (at W2 German salary scale) will be tenured on successful evaluation. Teaching hours are 10 SWS (2-3 courseload).
