For a tenure-line appointment, Duke University’s Sanford School of Public Policy (sanford.duke.edu) seeks applicants whose research is at the intersection of development economics and health and human capital, or energy and environment, with cross-cutting interests in public finance (candidates from other areas also welcome). Candidates must have an economics or public policy Ph.D. and experience in international research.

The Sanford School includes 69 full-time faculty, offers undergraduate and graduate degrees, and houses the Duke Center for International Development (DCID). DCID advances development policy through education and policy research. The School plans to expand DCID’s research, with a focus on economic development in middle-income countries.
