The Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at Colorado State University is seeking an Assistant Professor in the area of environmental and resource economics. The successful applicant will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in environmental and natural resource economics. The incumbent will advise undergraduate and graduate students, as well as participate in service activities in the Department, University, and profession.

Inspired by our land-grant heritage we are committed to setting the standard for public higher education in teaching, research, and service for the benefit of the citizens of Colorado, the United States, and the world. Applicants should be enthusiastic about developing a nationally and internationally recognized research program in environmental and natural resource economics and willing to collaborate within the Department, College, across the University and with government agencies.

Minimum requirements include a Ph.D. in applied economics or related field completed by August 16, 2017, as well as a command of the theory and methods in at least one of the following:(a) non-market valuation, (b) program/policy evaluation, (c) tourism and recreation economics, (d) modeling environmental systems, and (e) epidemiological dimensions of environmental economics.
