The Research Institute of Global Value Chains (RIGVC) at University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) invites applications for several special term research professor for Global Value Chains. Candidates should hold tenure track or tenured faculty position from an accredited research institution and are expected to have an outstanding research record relative to rank, along with the capacity to guide younger faculties, post doctor research fellows and Ph.D. students in their research. The appointment is 3 month a year as the minimum and the starting time are flexible during the year. We offer highly competitive salaries above market level, provide office space, research support, temporary housing on campus, and cover all international travel related cost from home institution to Beijing for these selected.

As an independent college of UIBE focusing on research and graduate training without undergraduates, the newly established institute is mainly dedicated to basic, applied and interdisciplinary research activities on the development of Global Value Chains and its implication on China, Asian-Pacific region and world economy.
