Xavier University, an AACSB accredited Jesuit University in the Catholic tradition, invites applications for two tenure track positions at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank in the Department of Economics beginning in Fall 2017. We welcome applicants with specializations in any field. Salary will be competitive, and rank will be commensurate with qualifications. Candidates who apply for appointment at the Associate Professor level should provide evidence of teaching excellence and a record of continuous and current scholarship. Faculty members typically teach nine credit hours per semester. They are expected to be excellent teachers, innovative in their approach to teaching in the undergraduate and MBA programs, and active scholars engaging in individual and collaborative research activity leading to publication in quality outlets. Applicants are expected to have completed their PhD prior to the start of the Fall 2017 semester.

To ensure consideration, applicants should submit a cover letter, curriculum vita, evidence of outstanding teaching, a job market paper, and copies of all graduate transcripts on Xavier University’s website. Applications will be accepted until November 21, 2016.

Please note: Only 5 attachments can be uploaded at step 3 of the application process online. Consolidate documents if necessary.
